A clean low-top in smooth leather on a rubber cupsole — one line, one colour, and the small mark at the heel the only thing on it.

Material & craft

A minimal sneaker has nowhere to hide, which is exactly the point. The upper is smooth leather with deliberately few panels and seams — less stitching to fail, nothing to interrupt the shape — over a soft textile lining that's kind to bare ankles. The cupsole is rubber with real cushioning underfoot and an insole you can lift out, and the eyelets are metal, set to take years of lacing. One colour head to toe, a small embroidered mark at the heel, and that's the entire design — restraint is the craft here.
